Jobs and Homes for 100 experiencing homelessness

Experiencing homelessness is horrendous. 

But doesn't have to be this way. Standing Tall matches people experiencing homelessness with a stable job AND a safe home. 

And it's working - 80% of the people we help are still off the streets and in the same job one year later. 

So this is where you come in - we need your help.

We're thrilled to be working with the Aviva Cost of Living Boost and the Cost of Living Resilience Fund.

Whatever you can give, Standing Tall will receive 5 times the amount.

With your donation, we'll be matching 100 people experiencing homelessness into stable jobs and safe homes in Birmingham, London, and Manchester next year.

And we're planning to start working in Liverpool, Leeds and Bristol next year too.

Our stable jobs are real living wage permanent roles with our employment partners in construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and retail.

At the same time, we match the people we help into safe accommodation with our Amici hosts so they're ready to get their own place after 6 months. 

Tyler’s Story

Tyler found himself living in a shelter in South Birmingham. Whilst Tyler was young, he had a good head on his shoulders and he was determined to get himself out of it. 

Standing Tall worked with him for a while and matched him with a stable job making repairs at Spaghetti Junction with Taziker. 

He didn't look back. We matched him with one of our Hosts in Erdington and that worked so well.

He's saved his deposit and he's now looking to move into his own place. Tyler - we salute you!
