Aim: Any money made here will go towards necessities for life whilst they wait to evacuate.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help my friend Ahmed Alkurd survive the genocide in Gaza.
Over the past 10 months, Ahmed, his wife Alaa, and their 4 month old baby have been displaced over 6 times and forced to live in a tent. They have very limited access to food, clean water, and medical care whilst also fearing for their lives and witnessing the killings of people around them.
Ahmed’s parents and siblings are trapped in the north of Gaza where famine is rampant. He hasn’t seen them since November 2023.
Although we initially started this as a backup fundraiser, we are now using anything donated here to help them get supplies such as food, medicine and clothes, whilst they wait for the border to open.
The money raised here can be accessed immediately and we have already got them essential provisions with your generous donations.
To avoid any confusion, Ahmed has a fundraiser for evacuation fees for his whole family, and this one to help them survive in the meantime.
