Aim: Enter now to raise £10,000 for Gaza Infant Nutrition Alliance to support 100 high risk mothers and win artworks by established UK artists.
WHAT WE'RE DOING:
We’re raising urgent funds for GINA – the Gaza Infant Nutrition Alliance, a grassroots mutual aid network working directly with communities in Gaza to support breastfeeding mothers and infants under siege.
This is an opportunity to win artwork by supporting GINA's collective of international volunteers, including lactation consultants, doctors, midwives and mental health specialists in Gaza, the UK and America.
In the middle of war, GINA protects the bond between mother and baby. They provide life-saving breastfeeding support when formula is unsafe or unavailable, train local teams, offer virtual care, and make sure no mother feels alone. GINA believes that even in war, babies deserve to be held, fed, and loved.
Any money raised will be used by the medical staff in Gaza to purchase food and high calorie supplements for the most vulnerable of over 500 mothers who are severely malnourished with an upper arm circumference of less than 23cm, and are currently breastfeeding a premature, injured or otherwise ill baby and multiples.
We’ve gathered an incredible collection of donated artworks from over 20 established UK artists, including original paintings, drawings, and limited-edition prints. Every piece has been donated in solidarity with GINA, to incentivise donations so we can raise the essential funds as quickly as possible.
STATEMENT FROM GINA:
These accomplished, compassionate, resilient doctors and nurses are not staff employed by GINA, they are our friends, our sisters and together we form a circle of love around the families we support in Gaza and each other.
We have got used to communicating and problem solving on a daily basis, they have learned how to support breastfeeding against the backdrop of repeated displacements and the loss of visibility and knowledge sharing around breastfeeding that happens when generations grow up side by side.
They have had to tackle myths and misinformation and learn and share that even malnourished mothers can provide nutrition, connection and protection through their breastmilk and that mothers can feed their babies through injury, illness, grief and pain.
They are saving lives everyday. Babies who would have died from starvation, illness related to prematurity, viruses and infections that are rampant in encampments and temporary accommodation have not only survived, they have thrived. An empowered mother with a breast milk supply can provide sustenance to all of her children in the absence of food.
The team have supported over 5000 families since their inception. Over 1000 mothers currently under the care of GINA are malnourished but we cannot get even enough food to feed those who are at highest risk of death by starvation.
We are so grateful to the people who support this work and we want to continue to raise awareness of what is happening in hospitals and clinics on a daily basis.
We have been so humbled and encouraged by the staff in Gaza, and the mothers in Gaza who are now coming to the hospitals looking for the GINA team to find out how to breastfeed, friends and family in tow.
Fundraising like this enables us to continue to train medical staff in Gaza to support their patients to breastfeed and to be able to provide food security for their babies.

Your donation amount enters you into a prize draw, and the amount you donate determines which prize tier you're entered into. Here's how it works:
- TIER 1 / £20 DONATION: A4 and A3 riso prints, digital prints, and merchandise (>RP£35)
- TIER 2 / £50 DONATION: Larger limited-edition digital prints, riso prints, and bespoke commissions (>RP£85)
- TIER 3 / £150 DONATION: Original prints, artist proofs, and original paintings (>RP£300):
- TIER 4 / £400 DONATION: High value original artworks (>RP£1,250):
Not everyone will win - but the more you give, the higher the tier, and the better the odds. We want to reward generosity with generosity.
